In this page, you will learn how to register, or pre-register for a tournament of the Main Event!

Registration for the Side Events (on Wednesday & Thursday) will only be available on the spot, on the day of the tournament.

Before you take the necessary steps, here is a quick FAQ on how to register to the World Game Cup. You really have the three following registration possibilities for the Main Event tourneys, whether you choose to attend team or solo tournaments.

1) Online Registration

Just pick the tournament(s) you wish to attend, then pay Online (via PayPal)! Please note that for a team, the registration will ONLY be accepted once ALL of its members will have payed.

- Price per head for a tournament of the Main Event: 10€ (10.60€ with PayPal commissions)
-You're guaranteed a spot for your tournament(s)
- You MUST register for the draw of the pools. I will take place between 1.30 PM & 2 PM on Friday and 10 AM & 11 AM on Sunday. If you haven't registered by then, your participation will be canceled and the fee won't be refunded.

To validate this step, you must first pre-register (see at the bottom), then foot the bill by PayPal (at the very bottom). Once the payment is confirmed to us, your status will change to "registered" on the website.
So you can pre-register now, and pay later, up to a week before the beginning of the event.

2) Online Pre-registration

You can just choose the tournaments you wish to attend & then pay when you get there!
Please note that for a team, the registration will ONLY be accepted once ALL of its members have pre-registered.

- Price per head for a tournament of the Main Event: 15 euros.
- There is no guarantee you'll get a space: the players who paid Online come first, but you'll get priority over the players who wish to attend the tournament(s) but haven't pre-registered Online and who will be facing a first-come, first-served situation.
- You MUST register for the draw of the pools & pay before you can play. I will take place between 1.30 PM & 2 PM on Friday and 10 AM & 11 AM on Sunday. If you haven't registered by then, your participation will be canceled.

The registration of the team will ONLY be accepted once ALL of its members have payed the fee.

3) Registering on the Spot

If you get to the event empty handed, you can register and pay as you get there.

- Price per head for a tournament of the Main Event: 15€
- There is no guarantee you'll get a space: the players who paid Online and those whose simply have pre-registered Online will have priority. So you will be facing a first-come, first-served situation & will only be able to attend if there's a spot left.
- You MUST pay before you play, you'll be able to between 1.30 PM & 2 PM on Friday and 10 AM & 11 AM on Sunday. If you haven't registered by then, you won't be able to do so.

The registration of the team will ONLY be accepted once ALL of its members have payed the fee.

The Waiting List

As you might have noticed, every registration option has its "status" & priorities.
If you come & get to the event empty handed, without having at least pre-registered, you will be put on a waiting list (on a first-come, first-served basis) until the time limit for the confirmation of the pre-registrations has passed. Then, if the tournaments are not fully booked, you will get a chance to attend. If some spots are left, they will be given in concordance with the waiting list.

The Registration Fee

Keep in mind the the registration fee per head is set at 10€ Online (10.60€ with PayPal commissions) & 15€ on the spot. The same price for whichever tournament of the Main Event you wish to attend. The difference is quite big (50%), so think ahead!

For the team tournaments, this fee must be payed by EVERY member of the team.

Tournament Regulations

When you register for a tournament of the Main Event, you also choose to abide by the rules & regulations of the World Game Cup. The complete rules of the competition will soon be available on our website and will be distributed during the event.
If you don't abide by the rules, the competition schedule for once, your registration can be canceled by an official, the fee won't be refunded in such a case.
