The paypal address used from the beginning of the registrations for WGC 2K10 has reached its payment limit. So, please use the following address from now on:

Don’t be surprised if you receive a mail telling you that your payment and your registration haven’t been accepted. In this case you will only have to make your payment to the new paypal address.

Pre-registration Warning

As you may already know, the pre-registration lists are filling up steadily, and we're very happy with it. But only a handful of the people who pre-registered have actually paid the fee.
Please keep in mind that if the pre-registration rules still stand & you will indeed be able to register an hour before the people who waited for the last minute, you won't have much time to do so (the referees will stand their ground on this point) and you'll have to wait in line to register in a first come, fist served fashion.

So pay now if you can! The Web fee is 10€ (Ten Euros) only (10.60€ with PayPal commissions), it's 30% cheaper than on the spot & you're guaranteed a place. You won't have to wait in line wondering if they're will be a spot left for you

Coming from a long way just to find a full tournament is just too bad to let it happen, so think ahead!

WGC 2010: Daigo, Fuudo, Eita & Desora confirmed for SFIV

We've been talking about it for a while now, but we were holding our breath. But since yesterday afternoon, their tickets have been booked. So we can confirm the attendance of Japanese players:

Daigo: A player that really doesn't need introducing...

Eita: One of Japan's Best Akuma/Gouki's.

Fuudo: One of the Best Ryu's in the World.

Desora: THE BEST Gouken Player (train well for the match-up!!!).

These players have of course already signed up for Sunday's solo Main Event Tournament & Saturday's team tourney. Daigo will play with Eita, and Fuudo with Desora.

It's also most likely that they will enter the Master Series (they'll be there starting Wednesday). And some of them might be interested in other Capcom games tournaments (CVS2, SF 3.3, SSF 2X THD REMIX etc.).

We're counting on you to give them a warm welcome & a good time, but don't forget to also give them your best shot!!!

"Complete" Schedule of The WGC

As you know, the WCG scheduled tournaments are divided into several types of "events", of which the most important are the Main Event tourneys, with cash prizes to win. But here's a complete schedule to cut it short:

http://www.worldgamecup.com/img/plannin ... _event.jpg

We strongly suggest you pre-register on the website for the Main Event tournaments. Especially for the SFIV, SCIV & KOF 2002 UM tourneys, as registering on the spot will be more expensive.
Please note that the cash prize pool will depend on the number of registered players.

From Wednersday on, you will also be able to enter "side events". These tournaments have the same rules, but no cash prize. But don't fret, there will be surprises to win!
No need to pre-register for these events.
